About Us

Na Aap Productions is an independent production company screening untold stories from Southern Africa. Stories of indigenous heritage and forgotten traditions form part of the most important dialogue that we want to generate through animation, documentaries , short films and feature-length films. The company is 100% Black Female owned. In this way, we work towards empowering Africans in the industry to grow and become storytellers alongside each other. Company founder Deidré Jantjies identified that women in Africa needed a voice to represent themselves creatively.
